Graphic designers Christina Bruun Olsson and Christian Koch have developed the font 'Gadetyper' - the unofficial Copenhagen type face in collaboration. 'Gadetyper' translates to 'street types' in danish.
It contains letters, numbers, dingbats and other characters from signs and graffiti photographed in the streets of Copenhagen. These images have thereafter been digitized and assembled into this font.
'Gadetyper' is completely free of charge!
Feel free to use it both print and on digital platforms. However we humbly ask you to hashtag your work on social media with #gadetyper, if you do so.
