This font is based on several Anglo-Saxon fonts. Rohan and it's people in the Lord of the Rings are based on the Anglo-Saxons that lived in Mercia that is now the British Midlands. Tolkien however, did not like the term "Anglo-Saxon". He always used "Old English".
